C+GA Receives NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence Awards for 819 Grand Street and Three Arts
C+GA is a proud recipient of NYSERDA’s Buildings Of Excellence Award for our projects at 819 Grand Street and Three Arts, a Blue Ribbon winner, for St. Nicks Alliance and WSFSSH, Inc. respectively. NYSERDA’s Buildings of Excellence is a $58 million competition that recognizes and rewards the design, construction, and operation of carbon neutral or zero carbon emitting multifamily buildings.
NYSERDA President and CEO Doreen M. Harris said, “NYSERDA is proud to select Curtis + Ginsberg Architects as an awardee of the Buildings of Excellence Competition Round Four for their zero emission multifamily buildings that are fully electric, accessible and will operate with rooftop solar PV arrays and electric heating and cooling. Both Three Arts Club and 819 Grand demonstrate that a low-to-zero carbon future is possible with beautiful and comfortable buildings that offer significant opportunities to ensure all New Yorker’s benefit from clean energy investments.”
We are grateful to be recognized as a leader in sustainable architecture for our carbon neutral building design.
