HELP ONE wins Interior Design Magazine’s NYCxDESIGN Award in the Supportive Housing Category
HELP ONE is the winner of Interior Design Magazine’s NYCxDESIGN Award in the Supportive Housing category!
HELP ONE, a four-building mixed-use complex supporting the nonprofit HELPDevCo and HELP USA’s clients and local community, comprises nearly a full city block in East New York, Brooklyn.
The Building A lobby features a large-scale mural by Brooklyn artist Derrick Adams, reinforcing HELP USA’s commitment to The Art of Resilience, its innovative art therapy program offered onsite. Building B also features a unique mural, with color-coded floors and wayfinding to help residents navigate with ease. Trauma-Informed Design concepts are enhanced through extensive input from HELP staff and leadership. Interior spaces utilize durable and sustainable materials whose cooler and neutral tones reflect ease and calm.
Congratulations to the whole team: HELP USA, HELPDevCo, AKRF, De Nardis Engineering, Skyline Engineering, Monadnock Construction, and Bright Power.
