Third Avenue Receives USGBC 2020 LEED Homes Award
C+GA’s Third Avenue Development in the Bronx received a LEED Homes award – affordable project from the USGBC! The annual awards program recognizes projects, builders and developers committed to creating healthy, sustainable and resilient homes.
The LEED Platinum project, also designed to meet Passive House standards, demonstrates that quality housing can be both affordable and sustainable. This low energy, high performance building consists of 30 units for low to moderate income families. The project also includes a courtyard, fitness room and supports the Bronx community through the Little Scholars Early Development Center, a year-round preschool in the base of the building.
